1. Google AdWords Certification


To engage an agency, ensure that it is Google AdWords certified. The certification serves as proof that they have passed the requisite tests for PPC advertising and passed the Google AdWords program. However, such a certification does not guarantee satisfaction, so other factors matter too.


2. Allows you to keep everything


Everything should be yours, including AdWords accounts, landing pages, and other creative assets. It is common for a PPC advertising strategy not to work, and then you get back to the field looking for another agency only for you to realize that the outgoing agency owns everything. To avoid all this, ensure that you are the one managing all your creative assets and accounts.
